Gîte Comme Un Accord
This project started from a slightly crazy idea, that of living differently, in a lodge in the forest.
As in music it takes several notes to create a chord,
this partition is played in harmony with a musician, a nurse-photographer, two wonderful children, a man who whispers in the ears of horses, a coordinator in the cultural sector, and you.
Our priority in this project is to share our environment, to allow you to recharge your batteries and discover this incredible natural place.
Offer you a relaxing, inspiring and warm place.
Open all year round, the “Comme un Accord” cottage will allow you to take the time to unwind and connect with the incredible nature of Saint-Mathieu du Parc.

“Chez Mélo”
4 km from the gîte, the Café-Bistro Chez Mélo is located directly in the village. With a rustic, warm and friendly character, it offers a diverse menu, for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Musical happy hours will be held throughout the summer.
City of Energy
The City of Energy is an immersive museum complex whose mission is to publicize, highlight and educate the public on the history, heritage, industrial development and scientific culture in the fields of energy and industries in Shawinigan.
(Located 20 km from our gîte).
Covered Bridge
Built in 1936, it was classified as a Historic Monument in 2001 by the municipality of Saint-Mathieu Du Parc.

La petite place des arts is an organization for the distribution of Visual Arts and the promotion of Performing Arts. It offers artistic spaces and activities with the aim of promoting creation, discovery and cultural mediation.

This beautiful project that is the Labyrinthe Coureur des bois actually stems from the family business Pépinière du Parc! Renée, Robert and Robin (the three Rs as they are nicknamed here) had always wanted to share their enchanting site and provide an extraordinary experience in Mauricie.
It was by sharing their vision with their team that in 2016 they developed a unique concept in Quebec! They planted more than 500 cedars and created a huge labyrinth where their passion for history and nature would intertwine.
